100... Years Old!

February 9th:  We had the privilege of celebrating something pretty amazing that not many people get to do... Marc's Grandma turned 100 last month!  She of course didn't want a party but I think she enjoyed herself. 

We had a big celebration for her at the nursing home where she lives (she's only be there less than a year--before that she still lived on her own!)  Marc and I and the kids got there 5 minutes before party time and the parking lot was already full.  It was fun to see all the people who love her (and realize that her life was filled with many, many more than were represented at this party!)

 

We were able to spend a fun weekend with Andy & Lindsey and a fun day celebrating Great-Grandma Lu.  Sadie enjoyed telling people that her Great-Grandma is 100 and Macey is lucky to share a birthday month with this special lady.
