Happy Birthday Kinnick

November 25:  Kinnick's birthday was the day before Thanksgiving.  We celebrated that morning with donuts and gifts and went to Chili's for dinner.  For his birthday, we got him a subscription to a Lego club.  He gets to pick sets of legos that he wants to try and they come in the mail every few weeks.  He is loving it!

 

 

 

First Snow

November 23:  First snow of this year (and one of the few!)  The kids did not get to play in the snow as much this year but they loved it when they did.  This was the first time I let Carver go out with his siblings (which was awesome for me!)  I loved watching this neighbor fun as they built an entire snow family...

 

 

 

 

Baby Vance

November 21:  My sister had baby #2 in October.  Due to our crazy schedule I didn't get to meet him until mid-November.  We were able to take a little trip to my parents' house for some crafting and family time.  It was so much fun getting to snuggle this little bundle of cuteness!  And that hair!!  Welcome to this crazy family Vance Paul...

Happy Birthday Callen!

November 20:  I got to keep Callen on his actual birthday so of course we had to celebrate!  We went to Dunkin' Donuts before school to wish this sweet little boy a Happy 1st Birthday...

"You Can't See Me"

November 14:  This kid!!!  He is too much sometimes.  We were eating in the living room watching a movie on a Saturday night.  Carver asked for more chips.  We told him, "No  more chips, until you eat the rest of your food."  A few minutes later he walks to the kitchen and I hear him getting into the chip bag.  I asked him to stay out of the chips and reminded him that he could not have more until he ate his other food.  He walks around the corner like this... (eating his chips!)

 

Apparently if he covers his eyes we can't see him! Oh Carver...

Callen's 1st Birthday Party!

November 7:  We had so much fun celebrating with this little man who is like a part of our family!  Happy 1st birthday Callen!!

November 3:  Another gorgeous fall day--we headed to Elwood Children's Garden (one of our most favorite spots!) for a little fresh air and snack time...

 

 

Beautiful Fall Days

November 2:  We have been loving and taking advantage of all the beautiful fall days we can!  Today was super nice so we walked/rode bikes to the park after school...

Halloween

October 31:  Halloween was on a Saturday this year and my parents came to hang out with us.  We carved pumpkins when they got here.  The kids all did their own this year.  Grandma Sue helped Carver and I helped Macey with the design she picked.  Kinnick and Sadie did theirs by themselves...

 The day was rainy and pretty cold but that didn't stop us from doing some trick-or-treating!  Marc and my dad stayed home to pass out candy.  My mom and I took the kids.  My mom drove the van and let us in and out.  We didn't go for too long but we got plenty of candy!
