Mile Fun Run

May 15:  Our YMCA hosted a color fun run.  Sadie actually saw an advertisement for me and asked if we could do it.  It was a free community event and I really want my family to love running as I have come to so of course I said Yes!  We did some running together the week before.  Kinnick ran the whole time.  Sadie took some breaks to walk so I stayed with her to keep encouraging her.  It was a fun experience and Kinnick keeps asking me when we can run a 5K together!

Bath Cuties

May 10:  Just a little photo shoot after bath time...

Mother's Day 2015

May 10:  We have started making it a mother's day tradition to go hiking.  I won't complain, because I love it!  This year we did early church and came home to change.  We packed a picnic and headed to our favorite hiking spot--Matthiessen State Park.  After hiking we stopped for cupcakes and then into Ottawa for dinner.  We stopped at one of our favorite parks from when we lived in the area. It has been years since we played here so it was fun to take the kids and introduce Macey & Carver.  We ate our favorite pizza place-R Grotto's.  It was a perfect Mother's Day with my favorite people!

Macey's Tea Party

May 7:  Macey and I had fun hosting a tea party while the big kids were still in school.  We invited all our little girl friends (and brothers!) from MOPS.  Macey and Sadie helped make all the butterfly place mats and decide on some fun treats to serve.  We used  3 different tea sets (Sadie's, Macey's and mine) and a big tea pot that Macey got when she was a baby.  I think I had as much fun as the girls did.  Sadie was bummed that she missed it but wants to plan one for her school friends sometime soon.

Troy Baseball-Spring '15

April-June:  Kinnick played baseball for the first time this spring.  I was proud of Marc for helping coach his team.  He had such a great group to play with.  He was in the Shetland league which is the youngest league (4-6 year olds)  They play one hour games.  Coaches pitch and the boys get to bat until they get a hit (they hit off a tee if needed).  It is a teaching league and they do not keep score.  All the boys get equal playing time and they rotate to try all positions.  We had fun watching his games...
First Game

Carver really thought he was on the team!

Game Ball!

The boys came up with their name!  Coach Brandt had this banner made and hung it up for all the boys' games.
