Baby Elizabeth

My friend Michelle and I spend A LOT of time together... so do our kids!  She has Jake (7), Lucas (4), Ethan (1), and now... Baby Elizabeth (born March 4th).  Michelle and I have spent this school year trading babysitting every Friday (mostly).  Our kids love playing together and we love getting a kid-free day.  We also hang out frequently in between our Friday babysitting trades.  We both talked about wanting a 4th kid (when we each had 3).  She found out at the end of summer that she was expecting.  It was fun being pregnant together (for about 5 months) and I'm even more excited to have our little ones grow up together.  Michelle had all boys and they didn't find out the gender for any of their pregnancies.  She was shocked to find out their family would have a little princess.  Now we get to trade clothes!

Elizabeth's scheduled due date was on the day of the "big snow storm".  Luckily they made it to the hospital just fine and she came as scheduled.  I was anxiously awaiting a call all morning.  I got to go visit the next day.

The girls and I took some food and little girl stuff over a few days after they went home.  Sadie was dying to hold Elizabeth.  (Macey was in a bad mood so she whined the whole time...)

On Sunday we took food over after church and had lunch together... It was fun to hang out for the afternoon.  All the kids took turns holding Elizabeth and they were excited to play together too!
Can't wait for this little girl to be a BIG sister!

It was St. Patrick's Day... in case you couldn't tell!

So excited to watch this little lady grow up--she'll have to learn to hang with a rowdy group of brothers but I'm sure she's up to the task!
