Museum of S & I

One thing I love about where we are now is that we're even closer to Chicago! Under an hour to get downtown (typically!) A friend told me that the Museum of Science and Industry had free days in October. I thought it would be fun to take the kids. We coordinated the trip so we could visit Rachel and Ned and see their new house. We packed a lunch and had a great day at the Museum!
These activities were part of a special exhibit for younger kids... we had a blast playing in this section:


Kinnick loved the big train room...

This room was all about weather... tornadoes, tsunamis, thunderstorms...
After we listened to a lady talk about vortex clouds, she asked Sadie & Kinnick if they would like to walk thru the cloud. They were pretty excited!

Macey and Ned were pretty sweet to each other--they had a blast!
