Back-to-School Night

September 30/October 2:  The kids each had a "Back-to-School" night a little while after school started.  It was fun to see their classrooms again and watch them interact in their school surroundings.  In Kinnick's room we got to go on a scavenger hunt and see things like--his desk, math stations, his cubby, carpet area, etc.  He also got to do a cute craft to bring home.  We visited the art, music, and PE rooms also.  The kids loved playing in the gym--they did the climbing wall, shot baskets, played hockey, and bowled.  A few nights later we visited Sadie's room.  We got a check list of things to find including her desk, her journal, her artwork displayed in the hallway, math stations, etc.  We had fun letting the kids show us around their world!
