December 9: We had a speaker at MOPS who talked about making time for play & relaxing during the month of December. She reminded us that kids learn through playing, touching, doing and we often get so rushed that we get grouchy. We Carver told me to "come see his tower" I started to say, "That's not a toy" but reminded of her message, I realized that a nativity made from wooden blocks is actually a kind of perfect toy. Instead of scolding him, I helped him name the members of the nativity and recite the story of Jesus' birth...
