More Chicago Fun

After our morning of shopping and lunch at the American Girl Doll Store we met up with the guys to spend the rest of our day enjoying the city.  We decided to walk from Watertower Place to Navy Pier.  We looked it up and it totaled about 16 blocks.  We thought this would be a fun way for the kids to see some more of the city.  We had one stroller and all three kids rotated through taking a turn.  Lindsey also let me borrow her Ergo carrier.  Kinnick spent some time on my back and Macey finished the trip by falling asleep in the carrier.  We enjoyed stopping at the river for a break and watching the boats.

When we made it to Navy Pier we rested and had a snack.  After that we decided to rent quad bicycles to ride along Lake Shore Drive.  We were able to get one with one bench--Sadie sat in between Marc and I and Macey and Kinnick rode in the front basket.  Our bike ride was harder than it looked but we enjoyed an hour of peddling along the lake...

After riding bikes we had dinner at Bubba Gumps.  The kids were well behaved after having such a long day.  We rode the trolley back to Michigan and walked to our car.  From the parking garage to our driveway was about 45 minutes--we love being so close to downtown!
