Stay Tuned...

Just a quick update... we are currently in a temporary house in Willmington, IL. It's about 20 minutes from Joliet (between Joliet and Streator.) I like to call it our "country house." I've never lived in the country before but am enjoying it for the time being. This house is a furnished three bedroom with a finished basement. One of the board members from Marc's bank owns it and is graciously letting us stay here. We are loving all the space both inside and out! We have stored our furniture and most of our things to be delivered to our house when we find one.

We put an offer on a house in Joliet. This particular house is a short sale. The sellers accepted our offer and currently we are still waiting to hear from the bank. If this works out we are hoping to move early November (if not earlier). If it doesn't we will do some more house hunting.

We moved Sadie and Macey into a room together and they are doing great! We also decided to attend The Village Christian Church with our friends the Windhams while we're in Willmington. It's about 15 minutes from our country house. We have already made a few new friends including a family that lives just a few minutes from us (yeah for new play dates!) And of course we've made a few trips back to Streator already--can't forgot all of our great friends there.

A lot has happened in the last two weeks... I'll be posting more (hopefully very soon!) We are still trying to get Internet access at our temp home. (Apparently no-one thinks they can provide us service.)
