June 22-26: The week after our vacation my three big kids attended "Spy Kidz" at Minooka Bible Church. Spy Kidz is there version of VBS--more like a VBS on steroids! The kids attended each day from 8:30--4 (bringing a lunch with them). They have cool bible lessons with visits from different Bible characters (I'm talking all out!), amazing crafts, and cool daily events like inflatables, BMX show, and field trips. All three kids got to go see "Inside Out" (they were supposed to have a beach/splashpad trip but rented out the theater instead because of rain) and on their last day they got to got to "Haunted Trails"--a local indoor amusement park. They had an absolute blast learning about God and spending time with friends (old & new). I am so grateful for all the amazing adults and high school students that work to make this week a success. The kids had a BLAST and this mom enjoyed my catch up week with just one!
