Santa Claus

November 30:  We went to see Santa at town hall this year and stayed to watch the big tree lighting.  They put on a fun event with Mr. & Mrs. Clause, crafts, cocoa, singing, and the tree lighting.  We started with our visit to Santa.  Carver didn't cry.  Macey pretended to be scared.  Sadie & Kinnick told him their "wish lists".  We had about an hour to wait before the tree lighting so we did a craft and walked around to see all the in door trees (I actually had no idea how many different trees they had!  Local businesses each decorate a tree and there were some really fun ones.)  It was cool to see them light the big tree but probably not something we will do every year (a lot of standing around...)  This was a fun weekend activity to kick-off our Christmas fun.
