March Miscellaneous

March 3:  Our whole family helped campaign for a man from our church that was running for Congress (primary elections).  We loaded up the car and braved a cold snowy day to pass out many, many fliers.  It was such a great experience and an awesome opportunity to teach the kids about politics.  My favorite part of this experience was on voting day as we were driving Sadie to school, Kinnick prayed (unprompted) "Please help Chris Balkema to win his election today.  Thank you that we get to vote for him."
