Downtown Girls' Day

May 31:  For Sadie's 7th birthday we let her get her ears pierced.  As part of her gift she also got to take McKenna to get her ears pierced.  My friend Erika and I took our big girls downtown for a morning at the American Girl Doll Store.  Sadie had saved some of her birthday money to spend.  We had a fun morning shopping.  She decided to spend her money to be extra earrings for McKenna and also to get a hearing aid for her.  The girls had so much fun...

After shopping we went to Ghiradelli's for ice cream.  Sadie and I shared a HUGE chocolate covered strawberry sundae.  We also went into the Hershey store to browse (and get a treat for Marc).  It was a fun morning... hopefully the first of many fun girlie days!
