Soccer Sundays

This year Kinnick participated in the same soccer program that Sadie did last year.  Sadie decided not to play.  Soccer Sundays is put on by a local church.  The program meets for 7 weeks--each week they start with a devotion, learn a new soccer skill, practice the skill with their age group level, practice drills and games with their team, and end with a short scrimmage.  This was the first year they decided to add 4 year olds to the program.  Marc will tell you that coaching pre-school kids isn't the easiest, but he enjoyed coaching Kinnick for his first team sport.  The kids first two games were "snowed-out"--we started the season with some chilly days and ended with some hot ones!

Aunt Trist, Uncle Jason, Jadyn & Jaren also came to a game and Mr. Eli & Ms. Sarah (from our small group came to watch Kinnick play too!  It was so fun having so many different people come watch Kinnick.  He scored 3 goals (at 3 different games) this year.  He also enjoyed practicing in the back yard.  Looking forward to many more sports in our future!  I'm so proud of my little man... and Macey can't wait for next year--when she's big enough to play!
