Carver's First Haircut

January 31:  Carver got his first hair cut!  It was a BIG deal for this momma.  It wasn't technically his first, he had many trims up to this point (both by myself and my friend/stylist Lisa!)  This big boy hair cut  actually stared as a trim but it wasn't looking so hot and Marc convinced me to let him cut it with the clippers.  The transformation was HUGE--he looked like a different kids.  Kinnick said "He doesn't look like he is in our family anymore!" when he saw him for the first time.  It took me a few days to get used to but he is handsome as ever (and looks so much like Kinnick did when he got his first haircut!)

Carver--18 Months

January 2015:

 Carver Loves... bathtime, bananas, wearing hats & boots, playing with balls

Carver had his first dentist appointment!  

 Carver gets into lots of things--he loves exploring, he plays very well independently, he climbs on things, he loves to run & giggle.

 Carver weights 26 pounds and he is 32 inches tall!

Carver goes to bed around 7:30 each night and sleeps for about 12 hours.  He also takes a 2-3 hour afternoon nap each day. 

 This kids loves to be with Mom or Dad and he loves to go!  Anytime we are getting ready to leave, he runs to the closet to get his coat and runs to find his shoes.

This sweet boy is such a BIG helper!  He loves to throw things away for me or put things back in their places.  When I ask the big kids to do something, he is often running to beat them to it.  He loves to get everyone's shoes for them.  He really is the sweetest!

-Performs his "Trick" (head on the floor, but in the air)

Kinnick--4Year Update

Kinnick--4 Years Old

 Energetic, Kind, Enthusiastic, Silly, Rambunctious, ALL-Boy 

 So sweet to his sisters, Loves playing with friends, Loves wrestling with Daddy, Always tells Mom "I Love You", Loves to give the baby kisses

 Can write his own name, knows all his letters/shapes/colors, can count to 59, loves reading books--especially superhero and dinosaurs

 Loves to watch Looney Tunes, Ninja Turtles, "How to Train Your Dragon", "Kung Fu Panda" & "Toy Story" Movies

 Loves to wear cowboy boots, play "fight guys", loves swords and guns, awesome at doing puzzles, enjoys playing angry birds, likes to dress-up, Always singing the "A-Team" theme song

 Eats ALOT, Loves "energy bites" and cashews, cauliflower is his favorite vegetable, loves meatballs, likes toast with nutella, Favorite restaurant is Panda Express--he LOVES the orange chicken

 Likes to flip & run fast, so excited to start playing sports--talks about it a lot, loves the Hawkeyes and all Chicago teams--Bears, Bulls, Cubs, & Blackhawks, likes playing Play Station with his dad

Getting so BIG... not ready for him to go to school, glad I have another year!

Macey--18 Months

Can't believe how BIG my little girl is getting... She turned 18 months in August (when most of these pics were taken!)She LOVES communicating and is trying more and more new words every day. She repeats most anything. She loves saying "Kinnick" and "Sadie". She also loves pointing out things that she recognizes (Dora, McDonalds, kitties and puppies, Nemo). She is also putting together lots of 3 and 4 word phrases (Mommy help me, Macey hold puppy, I eat cheese).
She is still sweet and smiley most of the time but she definitely voices her opinion when she's not happy. We affectionately refer to these times as "princess fits".
Some of her recent accomplishments include: dressing herself (she can do pants, socks, and shoes... trying to work on shirts!), she knows about 20 body parts, she is great at picking up toys, and she loves doing her shape sorter.
I love watching Macey interact with her big brother and sister. They both have such sweet relationships. This little girl adds much cuteness to our family!
