June 19-22, 2016: We always love to see our Colorado cousins but it's always too short! This summer, Nathan & Cori & kids traveled back to celebrate Chuck & Janet's 50th wedding anniversary. They requested for us not to have a party, but instead just wanted everyone together. We got to Burlington late Saturday night (after a crazy day of baseball and cookie making!) and started the fun on Sunday...
Sunday: We went to church and then took Chuck and Janet to Big Muddy's for lunch to celebrate their anniversary (and father's day!) They had a super yummy buffet and we also enjoyed the river views. After lunch we headed back to Chuck & Janet's to celebrate Carver's 3rd birthday. He had a "Jake & the Neverland Pirates" themed party with a bounce house, treasure hunt, and cupcakes.

Monday: We spent the day at Fun City Waterpark... we enjoyed the sun and water all. day. long. We had so much fun, I didn't get any pictures! We enjoyed Janet's homemade pizza for dinner and made a trip to the Sassy Strawberry for some fro-yo!
Tuesday: Chuck & Janet treated us all to a movie. We had fun seeing "Finding Dory". Marc, Nathan, and Jaren opted to skip the movie to play golf. The rest of us had a great morning. After lunch we enjoyed a lazy afternoon of playing in the yard and sitting on the porch. We had a family photo shoot with a friend (another request of Janet's!) and then had dinner. After dinner we headed over to the ball field for a little Gorsch vs. Gorsch friendly game of baseball (well as friendly as possible with this uber-competitive family!) We ended our last night together with sparklers.

When we left to head home, Macey & Kinnick got to stay for a few extra days. They enjoyed lots of fun including a Burlington Bees game!
