March 27: Usually Sadie's birthday is during spring break so she doesn't have to go to school on her birthday; but this year it fell on the Friday that spring break started. We traveled to Burlington Friday evening to stay at Marc's parents so we could celebrate the girls' birthday with our family. We decided to stop and eat on the way to have Sadie' birthday dinner. We let Sadie open her presents from Marc and I that night before bed.

| We borrowed a cotton candy machine for Sadie's friend party so we decided to make cotton candy for the cousins before we left Friday... it was a hit! |

| I forgo to get "birthday treats" for Sadie to pass out at school. Luckily, she had a fun time making this "treasure chest" and filling it with little trinkets. She took it to school and let each of her classmates pick something. |

| Sadie likes Buffets so we stopped at Golden Corral for dinner. Chuck, Janet, and Stephanie met us to celebrate the birthday girl. |

| The theme for this year's gifts was "Hair". Sadie got a curling iron, straightner, and curlers. She also got shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, mousse, shining serum, and hair chalk. |
