Super Bowl Sunday

February 1:  On Super Bowl Sunday this year we got a MAJOR snow storm.  Church was cancelled (this rarely happens!), so we started our day with... Pancakes!

By mid-morning we braved the snow to try for some sledding (we piled into the Pilot because we weren't sure the van would make it out of the driveway!)  We got to the sledding park only to find the entrance blocked because it wasn't plowed.  The kids were so bummed!

Back home we spent lots of time outside playing...

Next it was inside to warm up with cocoa & a board game...

For the game, Marc printed out some games for the kids to keep them occupied.  One was a bingo game to play during the game, the other was a guessing game for them to fill out ahead of time.  He even bought prizes for the winner!  We made lots of junk food and enjoyed our night snowed in.
